Join Bella Treks for Chile wine tours and to travel through Chile and Argentina’s countryside to sample a variety of wines from a variety of vineyards. In the areas surrounding Santiago, Chile’s capital city, we will begin the Chile wine tour with a lecture on the characteristics of the wines from Chile followed by a tasting led by a sommelier. In the following nine days we will visit premier vineyards in the Maipo, Colchagua, Curico, and the Aconcagua Valleys. Four days will be spent in Argentina sampling wines at five vineyards in the Mendoza region. Mendoza itself is a lovely city known for its sidewalk cafes, tree-lined promenade, and vineyards.

Chile and Argentina produce award winning, affordable wines: more recently their top reds have challenged the best from California and France. The word is out about the gorgeous wine country with stunning swaths of vineyards in valleys tucked between the Pacific Coast and the foothills of the eastern Andes. Almost every significant Argentinean or Chilean winery is architecturally bold with new wineries, excellent restaurants and relaxing surroundings. Join us on this winter trip like no other!
