Montana
Fly fishing Retreat -- August 9-15, 2008
The Montana Retreat is fly fishing, relaxing,
hiking, and hot springs, trail running, and river
floats.
You'll enjoy fly fishing with world-class fishing
guides AND you'll relax, hike and trail-run in
nearby mountains. You'll have a chance to soak in
the hot springs, and more! The flexibility in your
itinerary means you can do as much or as little as
you like on your vacation in Montana.
Arrive
in Bozeman, Montana, on August 9. We'll all travel
via vehicles to the beautiful Sweetwater Ranch and
the Harrison House - a 100 year-old restored
farmhouse outside of Livingston - The Harrison House
is walking distance to the scenic Yellowstone River!
Here, we'll spend 7 days and 6 nights relaxing and
enjoying each other's company. All of our meals will
be prepared by the house chef while we spend our
days fly fishing (2 days with guides in boats and
from the shore), hiking and/or trail-running in the
nearby Crazy and Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains, and
exploring the lovely Sweetwater Ranch with it's
abundant bird- and wildlife. Since we don't have to
cook, we'll have time to watch the sun rise and set
over the nearby mountains, go for walks on the
grounds, float down the Yellowstone river on inner
tubes and soak in a nearby hot spring.
Included: Beer and wine, airport pick-up and
drop-off, all meals as indicated (B.L.D.), guides,
boats, casting clinic, lodging and Crossfit
(optional)
Not included: Air travel fare from your city to
Montana, Montana fishing license, fishing equipment
(rentals can be arranged), flies, gratuity, entrance
to Hot Springs, and lunch on the day of arrival.

Canyoneering Utah!
Date: October 9-14, 2008. Call for details!
Discover the beautifully sculpted landscapes of
southern Utah by canyoneering! Canyoneering utilizes
a variety of techniques (walking, scrambling,
jumping, rappelling and/or swimming) to travel and
explore the extensive labyrinth of canyons, cliffs,
buttes, mesas, spires, fins, castles, and basins
that make up Utah's canyon country. We'll spend two
days exploring an architectural maze of rock formed
eons ago by the erosive forces of water and wind.
Canyoneering is a fabulous way to explore the depths
of this amazing terrain, and to sink your toes into
Edward Abbey country where you too can become a
“desert rat." |
