see the Patagonia steppe, condors, guanacos, rhea, gauchos, glaciers,
native forests, granite spires, wind, water, and rivers while

There are 25 species of mammals and well over one hundred species
of birds seen on the South America trip. You will drink wine and eat Chilean lamb cooked slowly
over an
open fire. The sun will be up into the wee hours and the cloud
formations will knock your socks off. We will stay in local estancias
(ranches), refugios
(small mountain chalets), and hotels.
